Hi I'm currently working on making my own debian repository. It's not so easy but I'm getting closer.
I want to use this repository for maemo packages too but maemo repositories seem to have a slightly different layout.
My repository works with debian but not with maemo.

Does anyone have a detailed guide for creating a maemo compatible debian repository?

Thanks for the link. My current config looks like this:
Code:
Origin: [XeN]
Label: XeN-net
Suite: extras-XeN
Codename: fremantle-1.3
Version: 2.0
Architectures: armel i386
Components: free non-free
Contents: udebs . .gz .bz2
Description: XeN's packages for maemo 5 (fremantle)
DscIndices: Sources Release . .gz .bz2 /usr/bin/rredtool
DebIndices: Packages Release . .gz .bz2 /usr/bin/rredtool
SignWith: default
Log: /var/www/repository/logs/fremantle-1.3.log
It seems to work, so I leave the config for for others facing the same problems.

What about that apt.conf file in the official maemo Extras repos. Is this really needed and how can it be generated?
