I found out that the more apps you install, the less responsive the launcher transitions gets.
This is even the case when I overclock my phone and tune transitions.ini

I suppose this is because hildon-desktop will animate all application icons, even those which are further down the page and thus not visible. So the more apps I install, the more icons I have in my menu --> the slower the transition gets.
My suggestion:
Could someone modify hildon-desktop to only animate the first four rows of icons of the main menu, since those are the only icons visible when going into launcher?
Maybe MohammadAG or Matan or any other developer could tell me if my suggestion is possible!
