just been checking and I can't believe I've been fooled for all this time. lol.
Anyway.....does anyone think this is a scam. I haven't found anyone else that has had this email from nlokia/ovi so I'm highly suspicious. (obviously wasn't so suspicious on april 1st about 10 or so years ago)

Ovi Mail is outsourced. It used to be run by Outblaze (who sold their e-mail division to IBM LotusLive), and Nokia has changed e-mail providers to use Yahoo instead. In order to keep your account alive you need to agree to the new T&C.

Is it not a scam. A lot of people received that email, I received mine months ago, I don't know why yours is so late. I never paid attention to it cuz I can care less about my ovi account, I have never used it. And that's a pretty big time to be fooled for such a long time...I hope you don't believe Microsoft owns the PS3 also, lol. Plus a quick google search would've let you know all you want about the Nokia+Yahoo partnership.

you mean microsoft don't own sony and nintendo? Wow, this IS a day for revelations.

So, doing nothing about the email IS an option then. It's weird then why I am only getting this message now if everyone had it months ago. I use it on my n900 as my main mail so I know when I want to send something there I can just send it to ovimail. Other than that I'm not bothered who Nokia partner with as long as I can send and receive emails. I did think a lot of people would be interested in the news though. But, then again maybe everyone knows about it. BUT then again again, if I'm only getting the notice now, perhaps lots of others haven't too, AND there were no other threads about it.......
