can the next n9 nokia meego device please encorporate the silent mechanism on the side of the iphone which is a hard switch which actually sticks......please readon.....i am in agreement that apple is a complete toss8****shite piece of crap and any individual who doesnt patch that hard(silent) switch to be an unlock switch with an iphone is a complete arse******.

basically i am sure others would agree with me that a hardswitch like this on a nokia n900 would be alot better than the current one which i believe has come into shape on the n8 symbian 3 device which will dissapoint thousands of customers. it clicks,,,doesnt respond at is in perill weakness to the possibility of patching apples silent switch.

so join me in my battle to bite at steve jobs and get this protest to the developers of nokia foundation. regards

iphone is the worst phone EVER! and apple sucks so damn bad! so i hope, NOKIA won't listen to you!

i disagree yes iphone is shockingly bad but if they have patented there silent switch then nokia should at least copy it and get around there current one.

from the images of the new n9 it looks to be aesthetically as good as iphone and i damn hope it comes resistive screen but encorporating the current lock switch is most likely to make this phone about %20 not as good as it could be.

encorporate the fixed mechanism and hey presto...no phone will be able to beat it...im not insinuating that iphone is beatng n900,,,,,seriously what other phone has an n64 emulator,,,,,i cant be arsed going on about how n900 is better in so many other aspects but n64 is the only comback at this point i can think of as i am a noob in full anticipation of hacking my n900 but i have little time in this steve jobs ego entoriated world...there are other blogs im in entire agreement with that prove rightfully n900 is better than iphone 4

iPhone wasn't the first with the hard mute switch. I had a Palm Treo years before the iPhone with similarly effective hard switch.

I don't know what came before Palm with the same feature, but it's not a new thing.

maybe n900 was never a mass market device,,maybe maybe maybe. but still,,,,,,even if n9 isnt mass market,,,,,this should be accounted for :P
