i love my n900 but it took 3 years for nokia to bring this phone to the market to compete with the iphone i love nokia phones but lately i wonder about this company .Don't these people have friends with iphone and anroids phone to at least see the UI and then go from there to build a better phone ? just asking !

Say again? The N900 was never released to compete with Apple ever? Who told you that?

Now if i look at galaxy andriod and apple iphone then i can say yeah they are trying to compete,

Nokia N900 is on another planet.

so why then did it take thee years to bring a phone to market to compete with iphones and androids ?

Repeat after me:

N900 was never intended to compete with Android and iPhone.

It was never a mainstream product.

It was intended as a development device, a 4th step out of 5 in line of internet tablets (hint - not a phone)

At the time N900 was released Nokias' stick against the Android and iphone was the N97 and we all know how that did go.

Please continue this discussion on one of the other 1k threads about how bad nokia is and how sad it is to watch them suffer from CEO'ed lead...
