Ah. I read it differently in the latest email, and various comments Quim's made: it seems they've changed their minds though:

You can't still do anything with it since we decided to select the
winners even before the sales start of the new device. We will send you
a notification as soon as the N810 is available in the online Nokia shop
you selected.
Still... it won't be long. I'm guessing late this week or early/middle of next.

Performance upgrade? Seems that the N810 Software isn't ready for launch yet, so they will release an update in december

It seems that N800 users won't get an update this month! Sorry Texrat, your 1-2 weeks will be one more month

Just FYI - the N810 RX-44_2008SE_1.2007.42-18_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin image is back :-)

Of course many experts here said that is is completely worthless for anyone with N800 so perhaps you can just ignore this post ;-)

Why doesn't the "Remind me again..." link on the Nokia OS2008 page do anything? I'd love to be able to get an email when it is released instead of wearing out my refresh button on ITT.

and no skype at all yet for os2008 anyway?

Sadly you have to provide N810 serial number (wi-fi MAC address). It is firmware for N810 after all :-)

Use GIMP to enhance the images of the N810 back panel that is floating around the internet.......

But as explained it is not meant for N800 so get it only if you have any use for it.
