The Following User Says Thank You to Falassion For This Useful Post: | ||
I recently bought my N900. Really loving it.
I just downloaded an app called FM Radio, which allows me to listen to FM Radio if I have a earphone plugged into the audio plug. Works very well: I get great audio on the earphone, but, when I turn to speakers (Of course, with the earphone still plugged in), the volume is very low.
I heard about a "alsamixer -c 0", which gives me control of volume/gain settings. Trying and retrying, I noticed that HP DAC does what I need: boosts up the speakers volume when using FM Radio.
I also heard about "alsactl store", which would save the settings of what I changed (In sudo). But, the truth is, after closing and reopening the FMRadio, the speakers volume is again low.
Could you provide me a step-by-step or anything similar that could teach me how to achieve what I need?
Thanks.
