[QUOTE=alcalde;941730]The only question remaining is... How do you say "Developers, developers, developers!" in Finnish?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMU0tzLwhbE

That would be "Kehittajia, kehittajia, kehittajia!" (Or actually with Scandinavian alphabets but who cares any more now that Nokia is a Microsoft subdivision)

I don't really care about the details of all this. The only question for me remains which one should I choose, Apple or Android?

My predictions was right. The guy from the future did told me the truth. This is the real 2012 propercy, MicroKia will rules and war with the other 3 large empires for 2000 years.

Who is with me? switching side to WebOS republic now is not too late. F**k Nokia. What a stupid move. When MeeGo going good, Elop came and destroy it once more. I knew it that hiring a guy from MS is like bring home AIDS, really uncureable.

Don't do this often, but I have to congratulate Balmer for a job very well done (honestly and without any sarcasm). He did a brilliant coup. Saved tens of billions that buying Nokia would have required.

True. I didn't know, that the idea of a winning ecosystem means giving all the profits to Microsoft. Bing search, ad money, Marketplace - how profitable are these for Nokia?

What the about the son MeeGo, will they kill him as well?

Tune in tomorrow.
Microsoft = Hugh Hefner
Elop = Playboy Bunny
Symbian = Her Ageing Husband

Hey it's not so bad...

The Bunny is going to move into Hef's mansion. Symbian and MeeGo are coming with, but they're gonna have to stay in the shed.

Who says Meego or Meego support would be better? I don't think so.
No Bluetooth file transfers
No system-wide file manager
No USB mass storage mode
No multitasking
No copy/paste
No internet tethering support

Come on...these are all things that the N900 can do.
And the N900 came out "ages" ago.
These are important things.
Without them it is a dumbphone and not a "smartphone"!
Nearly all the other things can be done by 3rd party software,
which is a thing that you will hardly see on a WP7 dumbphone.

OK, didn't read the comments so far, just leaving my own opinion for posterity.

I hate Microsoft. No anger, just contempt. I'm not particularly fond of Nokia either.

However, if - as they plan - they still release one or two phones a year with a decent linux OS like Maemo or MeeGo, I'm still a potential customer. I'm a happy N900 owner and still can't see an equivalent phone on the market. It's all about power.

But, sheeeit, this does seem like a bad move for Nokia.....

That'll show em'

Nokia is dead, dead, dead.

They will die an embarrassing, slow, and painful death.

Lots of people have cancer but that doesn't mean it's popular.
