I am so pissed of with Stephen Elop. Nokia was doing great until OPK left. All the problems started since Elop came. Ansi, & Jaaksi left and now Elop has totally destroyed the finnish company. Is there anything we as consumers can do to let the stock holders know our disapproval of Elop's plans? Surely this is not the way to go forward. What will happen to the Finnish economy? What about all the employees at nokia who have been working on symbian and meego?
Is there anything we can do to get our old nokia back??? Like an open letter to the stock holders to fire Elop and stop this madness??

Ex-Microsoft CEO Elop, massive reductions in employment is no surprise. That's what happens when a foreign CEO takes over. Elop doesn't give a rats arse of Nokia or it's employees or the people of Finland, he is there to cut costs and make the deal with Microsoft and get his bonuses. In a few years time he'll leave, and walk straight into Microsoft with a bonus.

Nokia stock is down 14%.

I think the stockholders already know.

Old Nokia caused the problems in the first place.

Unless you mean really, really old Nokia when engineers were involved in the decision processes that made Nokia such an innovator many years ago.

You want old Nokia back? The one that put nothing behind Maemo (any iteration) and produced a phone with a wonky microUSB whereas prior phones and internet tablets with microUSB ports didn't pull out?

Well... you could riot.

I still see the deliberate internal fracturing of Nokia into multiple, competing divisions as the start of the fall.

All Elop should have said is " WP7 & Meego will be the primary smartphone platforms for windows." Why reduce funding for meego?

Because a year later, it's produced really nothing tangible?

Can't keep pouring R&D into projects and have them give nothing. That's just not realistic.

These aren't garage projects any longer. This is something way bigger.

Just stop buying Nokia, stop advicing Nokia to friends and relatives, and take any chance to bash Nokia on media. Should be enough
