Go ahead and take the plunge. It is pretty easy.

Just flashed to 2008 minutes ago.

Watching today's Webb Alert on my n800 while typing this on my PC.

With OS2007, I was never able to watch this. Even when downloaded to MMC.

Thanks to all who figured this out.

I updated to OS2008 but I've found a rather annoying bug. I setup my BTDUN connection to my phone but it won't appear in the select connection dialogue. Just wifi connection.

Very frustrating.

*Edit* Never mind. Sorted

One great feature: ext3 formatted SD cards are recognized and mounted at boot w/o hassle. I hate FAT32

Pretty buggy isn't it? I've already had a browser crash activating the full screen finger pad.

Has anyone of you used the "shared folders" feature from the file manager? It won't work for me. My WindowsXP computer is recognized and listed but when I cklick on it, on the right side it says "no files/folders" . Shares are set on my XP machine, also one guest account and even my n800 user account ist added to the guest group.
People reported that it works, so I am a little bit confused
