So I attempted to install a new touch screen digitizer because my old one was pretty banged up. I had no trouble unscrewing the phone, but when I put the thing back together I could get the screws on the screen to come screw back on (minor problem), but most importantly neither the screen nor the digitizer now responds to pressing the screen or the LCD. It turns on and everything but then just sits there when I press it. What did I break/mess up? What options do I have now?

Well maemo community wont help you as i know because they suck my d1ck! I went through a big problem and posted everywhere to get help but no1 helped me ever!

Well do you have warranty left on your n900? If yes then the option is that leave the n900 to the shop center, where you bought it and let them fix the phone to you.

Every time I have posted, people have been helpful and courteous. I am well out of my warranty, plus I'm not sure they would cover someone who took apart their own phone.

I usually ignore people like you, but what you said really shocked me. If you created a topic on the forum, it doesn't mean that everyone is gonna "run" to you and help you with your problem . Most of us here don't work for Nokia, we are not a technical/customer support.

mishafp, try to run the calibrator program.

Ctrl - Shift - X

*Shift is under the blue arrow key.
All 3 key must be pressed at the same time.

sudo gainroot

/usr/bin/tscalibrate cpanel

So I guess this was easy- I put in my old digitizer back and it worked fine. Looks like I just got sold a broken new one.

Nobody is going to help an attention-dependant *****. If you had just posted one thread instead of posting in other threads which are not even relevant to your problem, the community would be more willing to help you.

Judging by your recent posts, you have the same intellectual capacity as an 11 year old.

Dude you dont need be visible now either for what I said.

And since im new here so i even dont know how to start a new thread.

what shocks me is that suddenly becomes how quickly people leave for me to answer for what I said, which no one ever did when i needed help.

If loser poeple like you were there to help me, when i needed help, I wouldnt act this way!

Obviously this is a case of "I've just had my brains washed and I can't do a thing with them!"

This is a guy that installs Nitroid on his phone but claims he doesn't know how to start a new thread to ask for help. I believe him. His "look what you made me do" attitude is sub 11 year old. Someone else said he was 11. What do you think?

You first posted your issue in a thread about Adobe Flash, you are clearly an ignorant fool if you think it's justified to hijack someone else's thread.

I was there to help you, I could have helped you if you hadn't have acted like an idiot. I refuse to assist someone that posts issues deliberately in the wrong thread and then insults the community when nobody answers.

Judging by all of your posts, you are not intelligent enough to follow and understand instructions, regardless of the complexity. Your own arrogance and rude personality are the reasons that nobody will help you.

Maybe this will teach you to show respect to people that are only too happy to help if they can.

You probably shouldn't eat in restaurants, your food will likely be tampered with.
