could you try running the game from xterm and see if it gives you any errors?
in xterm, type the following
python /opt/papertoss/game.py

which version did you install? the zip or te one from extras-testing?
are you able to uninstall from x-term
"apt-get remove papertoss" ?
have you tried rebooting ur device?
this is such a simple app I can't imagine how it could cause any fatal problems.

installed first version from devel repo...
just did this:
edit: rebooted, tried again, same error
restoring backup now

yes, remove
errors encountered while processing: papertoss
sub process/usr/bin/dpkg returned error code 1

Hi,
I got some errors, likely related to some other python package. I tried removing python-pygame and it did remove several programs, but it did not fix the issue. I reinstall papertoss along with python-pygame but nothing changed.The error log is:
