I have a problem with all programs using internet connection other than WiFi.
When I am connected with WiFi I have no problems.
When I am connected with 3G / GPRS I can only do browsing and use skype. I cannot send email through the N900 client, I Cannot connect to MSN, I cannot listen to internet radio from media player, I cannot watch TV from SBP TV, weather does not update in widgets, GPS maps do not download and so on.
at first I thought it was the ISP blocking some ports. I tried connecting to MSN with the same SIM card on another phone and found MSN to be working. Also my ISP told me there are no blocked ports.

Anyone knows what I can do?

thanks

I had a similar problem, when i checked my isp's connection settings on my N900 in the proxy settings tab the settings were disabled, I enabled them and no further problems.
hope it helps.

The proxy settings were already enabled and correctly filled.

Well, I guess the obvious test is to disable the proxy settings?

Normally e-mail does not go through a proxy anyway, but it may not hurt to disable it and see if it works then?

(you said you tried with your SIM on another phone and it worked OK, possibly without configuring any proxy..)
