Just read through this thread as I am not having much joy with this - I do not seem to have a game.bin section to load my images.

I have the tabs:

General
PSX4m
PCSX Re-Armed
Advanced

The bios is loaded under General, but nowhere to load uop my game images - that is why when I press Start nothing happens?

Tried uninstalling and going through the download process again. Same problem

tabris: yeap, i uploaded r7 today, happy gaming ;-)

Full changelog for maemo:
implemented most used GTE operations in NEON
merged latest Ari64's recompiler patches
removed some code from the recompiler that is unneeded for R3k
added some special handlers for constant reads
some moderate builtin GPU and SPU optimizations
added redump.org SBI support
tuned frameskip code again
fixed a crash in builtin gpu code
fixed cdrom slowdown issue
fixed notaz stupid bug in the recompiler that slowed down recompilation a lot
some other refactoring
fixed savestates( one savestate per all roms, but it's better than nothing)

copy from god_at_hell post:
added redump.org SBI support
For people who don't know what this means:
If you have an copy protected game (eg FF8 in german) for which you only have bin/cue files, you can download the subchannel data as .sbi file from redump.org and the game will work.

The new version is awesome! I tested ridge racer and medieval and they run almost full speed (90%-95%) without overclock! Thanx

Anyone there that can help me - cant even get this installed at all

After downloading the file and putting it in my root (as it wont download from App Manager) it will load up but there are no options to enter a game file and pressing start does nothing. Obviously some repositories have not downloaded - not sure how to fix.

Have ran get-apt update and there were some errors

I can confirm that it it working very well, most of the games i played were too fast if you overclocked past 700mhz with pal frameskip on...

Couldn't get any of the games where i'd set hwa=1 to work, but they worked if set it back to =0..

Good work!

FP125: what's problem ? you can't see games?
1. check extesions: only bin,img and iso is allowed (maybe only lower case? )
2. check directory with images ( tap title, gui config, rom directory, restart psx4m-gui)
if it's not help describe all what you tried to do more explained

Thankyou for taking the time to reply bonapart

I have uninstalled any Playstation related apps so I started from scratch.

My problems are:

1. Unable to install PSX4M-gui from App Manager - I get the corruption message everytime (even deleted the repository and downloaded it again)

2. As this would not download I followed the advice earlier in this thread and downloaded PSX4M-gui package to my PC desktop and placed it in my phone via a USB cable.

I then (as root) went into xterminal and typed dpkg -i psx4m-gui_0.4-6.11_armel.deb in an attempt to install it.

Xterminal then attempts to install it but a lot of error messages appear such as:

psx4m-gui depends on psx4m-gles however psx4m-gles is not installed - it says the same for pcsxrearmed

It ends with:

dpkg error processing psx4m-gui (--install)
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

3. Because of this, I went back into App Manager and succesfully downloaded & installed PSX4M-GLES and PCSX-ReArmed

4. I can now see the Icon for the Playstation emulator in my Games folder and I am hoping all is ok. However, like last time when I select this and press start nothing happens. I select Default Config and I can see the tabs at the top of the screen reading General, PSX4m, PCSX-ReArmed and Advanced.

However there is NO option anywhere to select a game image and where it says BIOS under the General tab it is left blank. When I select this, nothing happens at all. So I can not even enter a screen where my Bios file is

Obviously it is some problem with my installation file. Not sure how to fix it. ANy help would be greatly appreciated

Bonapart,

is it possible for you to make "Ninja - Shadow of darkness" work? it was one of the best games for PS1.

Another great game that i found not currently working with any configuration is Knockout Kings 2001.

Thanks.
