Ive lost the rcmmc with my Navicore software on it, but the Navicore website ( http://www.navicoretech.com/Consumer...770/en_GB/770/ ) gives instructions for downloading and installing the software. Part of the instructions says, "Extract the application file to the root of your memory card". What is the "root" of my memory card, and how would i do this. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

the root of your memory card is the top most directory for the mmc card. on your 770 you would extract it to the Removable Memory card in File Manager, or /media/mmc1/ from the command line.

The root of your memory card simply means do not put it in a directory or subdirectory of the memory card. Extract usually imples the file downloaded was compressed in some way, either a tar of several files and/or some sort of zip compression so extract usually means use something similar to unzip or untar.
