Drop it about $150 and ship to out to the US and you'll fair better.

I have 3 N900s in my possession right now, didn't get hit by duties or any of them. Electronics are covered by the Free Trade Agreement as far as I know.

I highly doubt you'll sell this in Canada, especially for more than $200. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I understand that not everyone's preferences are the same, but i say keep it. It's not until yougo without the device you realise how great it is. Something as small as the movie playback for instance, the browser, the capabilities of it, FM transmitter and so forth.

You can sync Gmail, contacts and calendar to it, but it does require a workaround (just Google it, all the info is there).

I'm not a developer, never even looked at code, but i still wouldn't consider another device. Actually mine just broke, i ordered another one the very same day. As for 3G, i'm from the UK where this runs on 3.5, but i'm in the States now and was in Canada last year. It's a shame it doesn't pick up 3G, but honestly,i had no problems at all running 2.5. I didn't try Skype on it, but internet was fine, and Canada has free wifi almost everywhere anyway!
