This sounds like you have old config files. Run this to remove stratagus configs:
Code:
rm -rf ~/.stratagus-2.2/sc

Launchpad support RSS announcement. If I release new version I can create announce message on launchpad. But I will write to this thread too

hi all. i didn't want to start new thread for my problem, so im asking here. so, i tried to install stargus and i have the orig. CD but i copied its content in wrong place (n900/starcraft) instead of (n900/mydocs/starcraft) and the installation failed. now, when i go to faster application manager and try to install stargust i get the error message wich says: none of the packages can be installed. i think it is installed but corrupted and when i go to remove applications tab, i cant see stargus but it is in my phone menu. i also tried removing it with xterminal but it asks password and i don't remember setting any passwords. is this some global masterpassword for stopping noobs(like me ) doing stupid things with xterminal?

and now the stupid question. is the folder seen as .documents in windows explorer the correct one to put the starcraft/innstall.exe? different languages makes things harder pecause in my n900 i see only folder named "dokumentit" and i am assuming that is the mydocs-folder...

edit: ah, found it with google

[QUOTE=pali;904603]

Data files will be now extracted to /home/user/MyDocs/stratagus/stargus so Stargus will not spend space on /opt.

To be fair, I'd prefer to stay with the /opt dir for heavy games, since I have the Vanilla EmmC - what means the space on MyDocs has been decreased in order to extend the /opt and I need the space in MyDocs for music. Can I tell it in which path to look for the files?
