no, that's not true I actually made the same mistake the first time I started it... you can open a new webpage either by selecting "Go To" from the menu or by typing Ctrl+g on the keyboard... it's as simple as that

Will Opera release a non beta version for N900?
Does anybody know?

opera-mobile_10.1beta1-6~fremantle0_armel.deb seems to be the last version (according to
http://repository.maemo.org/extras/p...ntle/non-free/ )

I like Opera very much it has many good feature adapted by the others for example the quick dial. It is incredible fast and has everything a web-developer wants from a modern browser. The only reason I prefer microb is because I'm used to it and I've tweaked it and it support flash. I wish I can enable Java tough. Is there an easy way? I can add it to my tune-up tools and also web-kit browser are good too but not at the moment for me.

MicroB for the win really, sure the zoom aint the best but the circle zoom works fine for me, and then google chromium because even though its not loaded in memory it starts just as fast. while the others Fennec and Opera take a bit

I tried to use firefox (fennec 4.0), opera and others, but they are all lagged and suck compared to microb, which is near perfect for a device like N900 in my opinion. It renders pages (nearly) perfectly and acts pretty much the same as a real desktop browser

I hate browsing "mobile" version of websites and do not like "reflow" of texts. I just want to see and browse websites just the way I see it on my desktop pc. So MicroB just cannot be beaten imo.

Greasemonkey is a must for some websites where it fits itself into 800pixels width and becomes weird looking. (TMO, whirpool.net.au etc) I make it extend to 1100pixels or so wide. Much better.
Can you please point me to the greasemonkey userscript you use for screenwidth fixing?
