Is there a command line interface to invoke KMPlayer & have it start playing a particular internet stream?

Application manager shows KMPlayer installed, but I have no luck calling it with kmplayer, KMPlayer, or KM Player.

I ask because the Media Player has become unreliable in that it frequently changes the playback function from play to stop when playing an internet radio stream, while KMPlayer when invoked by RadioTimeToGo maintains connection and playback of the same stream. My guess is it has something to do with how they handle buffering.

/opt/kmplayer/bin/kmplayer /home/user/Mydocs/.videos/ $video or mms:// $steam

i use ALARMED with this to make my N900 play internet radio as an alarm instead of some music file.

it starts with setting the volume at 25, then kmplayer, waits 20 seconds, then sets the volume at 75, wait 9 minutes, start over
