doesn't jailbreaking an iphone require you to build a new image (which is uncompressing the stock image, patching it, rebuilding a new, doing whatever post processing on it is needed etc), then flashing that to the iphone via dfu?
If so, wouldn't that need at least a day (well, maybe less) on a 600mhz cpu?
