Hello everybody,

Recently, I try to start the first SuperTux again (it was installed long time before on my N900). But I figured out I have a sound problem : no music or events sound (I remembered that when I played this game long time before, I have sound).

In the game menu, sound options are grayed out. I also tried to edit the "/home/user/.supertux/config" file (I replace #f by #t in front of sound options) without success ; when the game starts, there is always no sound and when I exit the game and look at the configuration file again, it has come back to a version with #f in front of sound options,

Of course, before I tried this solution, I also firstly reinstall the game package (but I was surprised that there was only about 500 KB for the all game and no other dependency like a data package).

Do you have any idea of what I can do to have sound again ? (I like to hear "EXCELLENT !" )

Thank you for your help

Did you install beat2x (or anything that would have "updated" your libsdl version)?

If yes, you'll have to use this:

Ok, the first command line fixed my issue on SuperTux (package without ogg+mp3). But now, I have no idea of what application required the other package...

Thank you for your answer .

The +mp3+ogg version is required by Beat2X for example. It's a DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) like game. ;-)
