One thing, I'd like to know is how to use the keyboard short cuts? Actually, changing or closing tabs by a short cut is something I consider very useful. However, the mentioned short cuts on "Opera -> Help -> shortcuts" does not seem to work or I simply don't know how to enter them.

Does anybody know?

shortcuts are misleeding as dev said, shortcuts doesn't work in querty keyboard.

few bugs about opera mobile:
-even if apn has different proxies for http and https, opera reads http proxy and set it for https as well
-while opening https site, if I don't click certificate accept warning soon then clicking it will take me to blank page and I have to reload.
-fullscreen edit as context menu in text boxes?? it does nothing.

few more things (suggestions/requests?)
-one more interface size choice, the large is too large and small is a bit small.
-in context menu open in backgound tab as well as open in new forground tab would have been better.
-remove top bar of maemo and put opera's own bar with few more info like clock, signal and battery.

It would be cool if context menu on link offered copy link (to clipboard).

Ok, did a bit more experimenting with the full screen maemo osk on the N800. And it seems that if i set it to always show when i tap a text entry area it do not send away the opera "done" button. So i suspect my earlier issue is related to the return/enter issue reported earlier, as that is what the center dpad is set to and said button is used to bring up full screen osk (ok, there is the finger press. But that is somewhat unreliable) if not set to always show.

well new opera build fast for now. But have one problem . while posting on T.M.O or any site via opera mobile 11 done button shows only when using opera keyboard and not while using hardware keybord.I have to find some space to stop writing.

got to love that opera zooms in when you tap somewhere that has more then one possible hotspot.

the new opera is awesome. completely revolutionises the way i use my n900. no more need for a dedicated facebook or twitter client as can do everything in portrait with the fab opera keyboard and touch/mobile interfaces of those websites. allso checking gmail is a cynch and very fast. i do most of my work online so this is the dogs bollocks as far as i'm concerned. just wish the opera kb could use the nokia's spellchecker.

After setting up Fanboy's Adblock every single page is giving me this error:


There is also another problem: Even thought I have selected 100% zoom from the settings it gives me <100% zoom every time I open a new page

This is because Opera renders the page to larger then 800x400 that the screen resolution is, and then shrinks it down. Just one of the quirks of the render engine i suspect. another is scaling a already mobile adapted page up to gigantic portions (dabr.co.uk in touch phone or touch big mode), or failing to rescale a section once another make the whole broader(arstechnica.com/civis once the article links at the bottom loads. The forum part stays as wide as would fit before said links loaded resulting in wasting 1/4 of the screen width).
