Is there a easy way to grab the current GPS Position via shellscript ... (or php5-cli)?

"easiest" would probably be Python tbh.

QtMobility has support for GPS access atleast via C++/Python I know there is develversion for QML(javascript) too:

Then we have PySide and its QtMobility bindings:
