It would be an evolutionary upgrade.

Same as the N900 except:
CPU is overclocked to 720 Mhz like in the Motorola XT720 (uses same OMAP 3430) or upgrade it to a OMAP 3440 (same core but runs at 800Mhz)4 inch screenUse the extra space created to put in 1800mAh battery.

And of course the bug fixes and minor annoyances.

You do know that an N950 (with Harmattan) is coming out this year?

The question is will they support it like the Symbian devices? or is it going to be another Maemo-type support.. there's a thread about that search TMO for it...

My N900 already runs at 1Ghz. (been doing this for over a year now)
Just overclock yours if you want faster clock speed using same CPU.

If they made an upgraded N910, it should be more like:
- Same Maemo5 OS
- OMAP 4430 (Dual-core ARM Cortex A9 + SGX 540 or better)
- 1GB RAM
- 4" or bigger Resistive LCD (higher res welcome)
- Bigger battery
- Proper USB host support
- HDMI out (at least 720p output)
- HD Video playback / recording

Now that would be my dream mega-N900.
If Nokia made that, I wouldn't go to any other phone for a LONG time.

@jakiman
Any reason you specifically choose resistive over capacitive? Doesn't multi-touch interest you, especially in Preenv?

I imagine he likes being able to write with a stylus instead of smudging with a fat finger. (No offense, jakiman -- on a 4" screen, all fingers are fat.)

.... you think Nokia gives a flying **** about the geek segment ?

.... get a grip - as a market segment FOSS geeks are insignificant - Nokia does not give a flying **** if hardcore FOSS geeks just stopped buying their phones altogether - and they have proved it with M$

Delusional - go dunk your head in some cold water.
