Unfortunately this is the real world and the phrase "One bad apple spoils the bunch" comes to mind. If this was down my local pub, I don't think Mr Abill would still be hanging around. But the sad thing is we're getting so emotional about a mobile phone operating system ffs!

Great news with this latest test release - good to see MeeGo coming on strong Me personally? I'm happy with Maemo for the time being but interested in what the MeeGo project will bring us.

pretty much everything else you've mentioned works for me too

(I've installed the image on my 16GB SDHC, class 4 (a bit slow that f**cker, so I guess I will get a cheaper 8gb class 6 or more for testing) if that is of any help?!)
Nop I did not do anything other than install the image onto my MMC. It just worked

@maxximuscool
I download the image through the provided link on this thread. I have no idea if it's a daily build or testing one; Though i did get a taste of meego, I think it still have a long way to go before it become maemo replacement. I really like the screen rotation though

Isn't Nokia going to make their own browser for Meego (or port microB)?

You can download it from my video on Youtube. The one I'm using is the one you should be using as well.

I don't think Nokia is dedicated the time for MeeGo since it has been dropped to experimental project. But I might be wrong though.

Max your posts are exilirating but it just goes to show the amount of passion on this forum aye?.

As for MeeGo from Nokia, it just won't happen sadly and the rate development is going and looking at current problems within both CSSU and MeeGo builds is the reason why i attempted to start a discussion regarding why it is not going so well but as usual the nasty brigade jumps on the bandwagon and on it goes !.

Sad to realise that after more than 6 month still nothing that is anywhere as good as 1.3 Maemo.

So if that is the best that can be done it is time for new management and tactics because it is now well over a year since the N900 came out with absolutely nothing after the Nokia version of Maemo that runs without conflicts.

If people cannot take constructive critisism then i still stand by what i said, they should stand down and let someone else take it on with a different outlook and strategy.

I strive for one thing only, the better for all, but people just do not see it that way and live on hope with current folk dealing with progression.

It will not be long now the N900 is superceded and outclassed in every aspect then ditched alltogether.

Keep up the good spirit building your an asset to the community.

In your deluded little world, as much as you try to convince yourself that you're a martyr to Meego, check the tags and check the comments in this thread. No one is listening to you....because....well because it's you.
