Hi all,

First post - so be gentle

I'm looking at getting the N810, and have heard that it supports USB Host OTG.

I've a Fujifilm S6500FD digital camera, that I would like to connect to the N810 to transfer the photos over to when I'm out and about.

The tablet's size would be ideal for this.

Can the tablet support this connection via USB...?

The camera takes XD cards not SD, so I can't just pop the card out of the camera to put in the tablet.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Kindest Regards,
Shane :-)

Buy a new camera.

They make adapters but I haven't come across one that will fit with the door closed on the N800. I am petty sure you need to the door closed to access the card.

YMMV. Besides the question of drivers (cameras sometimes use rather unusual embedded USB hardware, for which you'd have to find or compile the right kernel module), USB OTG devices are supposed to be essentially self-powered. Some cameras are - others (often those that use the USB socket for charging) are emphatically not.
