Dear All,
my nokia n900 last night went off while it was working very fine without any problems ... some days ago it fell in some water .i dried it but it was working very good since aftr that .. it was almost 10 days ago before last night .. but last night it went off by itself .. now it is not switching on .. when i press the power button , it shows light n on screen i see NOKIA written.. aftr that nothing happens n it goes off ...

is it some os issues ??? do i need to reinstall the firmware ?? or what is it ?? plz help

My guess would be that the falling in water might be catching up with you. You might want to put the phone into R&D mode and see if it will boot then. Does the phone charge?

Sir , It must not be the case, koz it was working very fine for 10-12 days after falling in water ... fone does not charge .... can you please tell me how to do tht R & D mode n stuff ....

Flash it. Flash it in the toilet!

Just kidding. Try reflashing the emmc.

You better put your battery and phone(with his keyboard slided out) in some rice for a few hours and everything will be normal after that. Rice will absorb moisture and everything will be dry and so...

I saw that from Jon Quach old tekhseven videos. You should at least leave it for 24 hours.

But in his case. The phone still turns on but only at nokia logo. I don't thinks its a water problem.
