Does someone managed to install symbolic?
I tried to install clc, which is needed by ginac, which is needed by symbolic, but after some hours of compiling I got an error about "undefined reference to blahblah"
I should learn to cross-compile with my dual core desktop, to waste less time!

I managed to cross-compile cln and ginac, but now I have two problems.
The first problem is that default installation directory of cln and ginac is /usr/local, but I have not enough space in that dir. So, where should I put them?
Second problem is that symbolic installation can't still find these two libs (on scratchbox, where they are installed on /usr/local). What should I do?

Optify those files. Just create a folder somewhere in /opt and create a symbolic link in /usr/local to point to the /opt folder.
For example:
/usr/local/octave -> /opt/octave
For example:
/usr/local/octave -> /opt/octave

I don't find octave on any repository, has this not available anymore ? If not, where can I find all the source I need to recompile it ? I dont find f2c neither f77
