In looking at the thing with the V keyboard I have also found the I can solve the off the bottom of thepage thing using the vitual desktop in the task bar. Superbly you can grab the window in the 1 (of 4) desktops and slide it about. How cool!

I only use 1 desktop so I've never tried your solution - but it's good to know there's an alternative Thanks for sharing!

PinCushionQueen : It works with a single desk top. You slide the app around in the mini desktop on the task bar. In the mini desk top, on the task bar, touch the app respresented in it slide it and let go. Wow!

Ok... so Penquinbait - I've been thinking and I have a few questions about my existing KDE install (done the "old" way by partioning and cloning etc. manually).

1) Is this "new" way of running ext2 on top of FAT as efficient as just formatting to ext2?

2) If I don't dual boot won't I loose USB-networking that I gain by using init_flasher?

3) Will you also be releasing any future SUPs as tarballs or are you going to just make them all .deb files - in other words - if I stay with my existing installation of KDE can I still install updates or will I eventually have to change to the new .deb method of installation if I want any updates? I kinda don't want to reinstall KDE because I've got it set up sooooooo nice and don't want to have to tweak it all over again.

Thanks bunches!!

seems i cannot:
1)edit the kde menu, it doesn't save my changes
2)delete anything, there are problems with trash
anyone have this problems ?

(Is possible to 'simulate' right mouse button?)

even with some problem. kde is very usable !
thanks PB !

What about to port also 'kstars' and 'krusader' ?
thanks !

Yep, same probs with trash, dragging to trash bin gives me " Already exists as a folder" which whatever option Itry I can not delete the file.

and also shift to get chracters @! etc on the v keyboard is odd. First press of shift does give you the character you want but only if you know where it is. Two presses of shift shows the correct character on the keyboard but gives you the non shifted character. try entering an email address and you'll see what I mean.

1) yeah - not sure why using Menu Editor doesn't actually save the changes after you hit SAVE. - I've just added those things to the desktop instead.

2)I can drag and drop desktop items to the trash bin without problems - what are you trying delete or are you trying to uninstall something? If you're trying to uninstall some there is always KPackage.

There is no way (that I've found) to simulate a right-click, however, I have found a way to do pretty much everything without the right click.

3)Kstars is already there under Edutainmet -> Science; what is Krusader?
