Thanks for the understanding TA-t3.

Carrying around an extra device gives off the impression to others that you're disorganized so I'm hoping for at least another Beta or a script you guys were talking about previously.

I understand why GVM has gotten so much anger from people here, I was one of them awhile ago.

But shoot, now I've got only one 8 meg gvm.store that never corrupts the 600 megs of med apps on my storage card and I also load up a virtual keyboard next to it so I don't ever need to mess around with the keyboard inside GVM.

It's a really nice setup and I'd hate to lose it.

Hi guys,
I wish GVM will work on the N900 an we will get a new beta or even better a optimized version.

I sent an email to ACCESS a week ago and got this answer:
"At this point it has not been decided is Garnet VM will be made available for the Nokia N900."

Unfortunately no news.

waiting and hoping

Unfortunately, I think this confirms my suspicions they have doubts about it

The OS2008 version runs. I even had dpkg set to --force-all but it wasn't needed. I can even hear the annoying beeps (oh, how dropping my Palm was bliss...) .

Very nice qwerty!

Do you understand the code well enough to bypass the expiration date?

Excellent!

It's nice to know that we've got at least one "real man" that knows how to program here. *lol*

Wow, that´s cool
I´ve got so much Software for Garnet, I feel really happy now.

The only thing I´m missing now is a N900

So What will happen to all of our palm apps? When Garnet VM expires in November will we be left with a nokia 8xx that cannot access our palm apps? That would be pretty bad for me......is there anything that we can do? Does anyone have a solution to prevent GVM from expiring?
