Definitely has an "open source" look. Heck, we could even get blank, black t-shirts and a roll of white duct tape to do this one!

fwiw we don't really need a shirt design before mid September. It's nice to experiment with ideas as long as the designers don't get tired / bored.

Doesn't feel quite right on the 2009 - it works alright on the block-letters of "MAEMO" and "SUMMIT"; but is less effective on the 2009, IMNSHO.

It's a kerning issue due to character count but IMO it's not a showstopper. I actually like how it draws the eye to the year because of the distinction... and I don't think the characters should be altered to account for it.

Although, one possibility would be change it to 9 10 2009 or similar...

I like the idea of t-shirt design... but somehow i dont like the crosses..... why so cross?
