Another "wow" moment was hot-syncing over 3000 contacts and several hundred appointments, notes and tasks from Outlook 2007 to the N900 using the Nokia PC Suite.

A related "wow" moment is how wonderfully robust is the Bluetooth connection to my laptop. I have it set to hot-sync every 15 minutes when there is a connection. So by just walking into my studio, the N900 / laptop will automatically hot-sync without no intervention.

Very nice!

It hasn't been this good since my Palm Pilot packed it in. No other cell phone that I have had comes anywhere close to the N900 as a portable business tool. And I look forward to continued improvements in this area.

Cheers!

Brad

Hello neowolf;

The n900 picked my UPnP LaCie drive from out of the box as well. I was able to stream mp3 but no other video files (.mpg, .mpg2, etc...)
Suddenly; the n900 can no longer pick the Music up from the drive!? I can see the drive; browse to it; but none of the files are accessible.

Any thoughts??

Thanks!

I am not sure why people were apprehensive on the touch screen..."not like the iPhone, blah blah..." it is great!
The n900 is very response. The build quality I feel is excellent!

Not sure if this is the case with other phones; but picking up UPnP drive was a HUGE surprise.
I did not know about the FM Transmitter until 1 day before I got the phone!

Mine was probably updating hermes against my Facebook page. Altho every time i update I end up with 2 of certain people again!

Also petrovich - seemlessly uploads pics to my facebook page very quickly. Awesome.

There is a lot of clunkyness at the mo and people that say its perfect are clearly on drugs or something... however I do see a lot of potential but Nokia need to get it right with the next firmware.

It's almost full linux OS, use cron you can set your phone to do stuff at specific times of the day/week etc.

N900 is a step up from the N810 for me.

SSH into my PC and shut it down from downstairs, brilliant.
