Here's issues i have noticed so far:
*The quality of recorded video from n900 has definitely gone worst. the zooming has got little smoother i guess but not quite there yet. I tried to get video information from the MediaInfo software I have in my laptop but it displays nothing but just the size of the file but for videos recorded prior the update, it shows all infos.
*Mediaplayer widget in the desktop doesn't respond to play button.

These are what I've noticed so far and 'll keep adding as I encounter.

Guys, I could not wait to update but having read these posts, I am now in a dilemma. Should I go ahead ? The previous small update means n900 now works well enough for me. What exactly will I miss by not updating ? thanks for answer

LOL, I let it run over night brother. And I restart the device but 10minutes of redline the CPU on idle, I gave up and restart it again using "reboot" command and thing is going good so far. But have you notice that the music player is now not running when you minimized it? well it working but the multi-tasking view only see the music player like a picture without moving..

This some what changed the OS a bit.

The only thing that you would missed is the MS exchange. Other wise nothing else is benefiting you at all other than Portrait Web browser capable. But still need to use Lanscape VK.

It depends on what you use.

For me everytinhg is working smoother. Have to restart couple of times after update and select default theme. After that this feels faster and smoother to operate.

Microb at least is bit faster. But if you are totally satisfied with your current system then dont upgrade.

I am charging it now using USB. (using PR1.1)

After the upgrade. I will need to disconnect the cable, and plug it back, then the charger works.

Ok guys I will skip this update. I am very happy with it now expecially the battery life (like 39 percent increase) and I dont need MFE and landscape browsing is better for me. Also I dont want to lose volume control in slide to unlock view as I need to adjust it in my pocket. I'll wait for 1.2 - anyone know when due ?. Thanks a lot.

If nothing is broken, don't fix it, right ?
This is definitely the last time I'm going to be among the first to update.

Edit: what you'll miss?

The phone log change was specifically asked for. People complained that you couldn't tell where to call someone back - whether they'd called on their mobile or from home.

If you open the entry in log and see which number/method they used, but want to call back using a different one, just click the picture/icon. It will open their entire phone entry and offer you all phone types (including sms, but not email).

In return, if you are in conversations window, but want to call them instead of replying, you can now click the pic/icon there and open all their options. Much more seamless!

I am mystified by people reporting loss of vid quailty. Mine seems superior. I am blown away by the hig res vid I have.
