Hey all,

It seems like it doesnt work with some background files,
also, i found that battery consumption when idle increases, as it seems like the cpu doesnt go to sleep..
Not too sure, but just some observations.

I also think that maenotify eats too much CPU (battery) but I am not completely sure about that, I will observe it further...

Yes, with the new upgrade maenotify seems to eat more resources since it's refreshing every minutes to update battery percentage and cellular signal strength also when in idle.
I'm trying to see how to get this solved asap.

And sometimes the lock screen appears only after the second press on the on/off button.

Have you noticed this in some particular situation? Or it is random ?

I think it is random but maybe it happens when the current background data is wrong and needs to be updated which uses so much CPU that the button press is not recognized but that is just a theory.

There is definitely something amiss with the cpu usage of maenotify.
To illustrate, here are two screen captures from my phone.
Both show cpu usage during overnight idle, the first without maenotify installed, the second with maenotify present.

love the idea of this, but looks like still not ready for prime time. would love the idea of hooks for latest emails and task and/or calendar entries, too

It definitely consumes some CPU. I monitor it by SSHing into it. Every minute, maenotify spikes up occupying around 23% CPU.

If this could also show the phone profile on the lock screen (silent, general) that would be awesome! Is it do-able?
