I'm still new to this whole repository thing so I hadn't realised that. I've now promoted the application to testing so please vote away!

On the subject of Classic Cam - I am working on this in every spare minute but am having technical problems with GStreamer and Qt. I'm trying to get the camera preview into a window but it refuses to work properly. I think I had a breakthrough late last night so fingers crossed.

I think the first version of the camera application will look fairly similar to the standard camera app. I may try to "skin" it later on to make it more hipstamatic like. What do people think? Does the UI need to actually look like an old camera?

I like the UI as it is, by the way. It's simple and fits in well with the rest of the Maemo5 ui.

You're keen! Shouldn't be too long now. I'm just working on making the app process the photos in a background thread to allow reasonable time between each shot. I've then got to do a bit of a tidy up of the configuration files and a bit more work on the UI and it should be done.
