sorry to hear that leetut , oc working good on maemo via titan v40 and on nitroid too , i used fix by dj steve (link page 474 or 477 on overclock thread) . i had manual install nitroid and titsn v37 , used fix and all ok , made backup of boot and multiboot.d folders to be safe . used nitroid uninstaller and manual clean of phone using winscp . installed autoinstaller then replaced missing titan v40 items ftom multiboot.d , most important bit is fix i linked to on oc thread , before that was in same boat mate so reconsider and try the fix .

Have you tried re-installing the power kernel?

apt-get install kernel-power kernel-power-settings

then reboot.

Code:

apt-get install kernel-power-bootimg
cd /boot
mv zImage* multiboot/vmlinuz-2.6.28.10power40
cd /etc/multiboot.d
leafpad Maemo-2.6.28-power39.item

edit the item as below
Code:

ITEM_NAME="Maemo 2.6.28.10power40"
ITEM_KERNEL=2.6.28.10power40
ITEM_MODULES=ext3

reinstalled nitdroid to try this
but its not working, like every other fix ive tried
the above is already in the leafpad doc that opens?
so dont know what im supposed to do there!
still cant overclock

gonna remove it again and try
apt-get install kernel-power kernel-power-settings

This is the solution that was posted on the NITDroid Forums to get kernel power and NITDroid working through Multi-Boot. It has worked fine with me

I needed this to work cause I use MobileHotSpot alot.

After a successful installation and boot up of NITDroid. You go back to Maemo.

Make sure Extras Devel is enabled

Re-install Power Kernel (This should install version 40):
Code:
apt-get install kernel-power kernel-power-settings
Then install the bootimg of Power Kernel:
Code:
apt-get install kernel-power-bootimg
Then use one of NITDroid debs to auto add Power Kernel as an option on the multi-boot list(This one of the things NITDroid auto-installer downloads):
Code:
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/.nitdroid/multiboot-kernel-power_0.3_armel.deb

Try to re-install?

Code:
apt-get remove kernel-power
or
Code:
apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power
Then run "apt-get install kernel-power" again

I appreciate that you are having problems and do not want to join the NITDroid forum, but by posting here you are taking this thread way off topic.

This thread is a request for someone to create a GUI for the installer so options (such as OC etc) can be easily selected. With all these help requests here no develper is going to be able to get the required info and therefore we are less likely to get the app to make everything easier for everyone.

If you dont want to post on NITDroid (even though you can generally find your question already answered) at least start a new thread to keep this one clean.

Thanks.
