This device feels more like an Archos 605 wifi successor or Archos 43 vision successor rather than and Archos 5 successor.

I was originally going to get a T-Mobile G2, Samsung Vibrant, MyTouch 3g slide, or something like that, but I would have to pay 30 dollars a month for a data plan or pay 600 dollars to get it without a contract. So I'm glad I can get something like this without paying through the nose.

Of course it will happen hardware is always getting cheaper. Since were on the on the topic of Archos, when the PMA400 was released it was 800 dollars which is very outrageous, but 6 months later Nokia released the 770 with significantly better specs at 400 dollars.

Get my point. I'm not saying we need more devices that aren't phones I'm saying we need cheaper phones.
