I complained about this issues several times and it was ignored and swatted away like a common house fly.

I think if many of us b*tch on top of letnoob's promise to quit development, we may be heard. Those damned moderators may actually get off their high horses and kick out that individual/group from this constant trolling.

Srsly gtfo!

don't use the lxde desktop, but do everything through the easydebian maemo chroot terminal

edit: just remember launch *everything* from the maemo easy debian terminal.
Thanks a lot!

I think you guys just over reacted to the silly tags. It is just none sense and it means nothing. Let it go and back to the project.

Well if you quit just because some childish fool added weird tags.

Then you are giving him exactly what he wanted.. Why let him suck the community dry?

Especially projects that have alot of promise!

I agree wholeheartedly. Some people are scornful about flash or gnash - yet for some of us it is something that would be nice to have. I like to listen to BBC radio and watch BBC news broadcasts. I can do that on my PC if it is connected - but not on my n900. I like to listen to Bob Harris on BBC iPlayer (as that is the only way to hear it the other side of the world). I cannot listen to it using the new Firefox 4 update, because it reckons I need Flash to do so. I don't understand why, as it is a radio broadcast - and when I use the stock n900 browser, it does play without this error (albeit poorly - the stream breaks up intermittently). I also get links to youtube videos on current affairs, and certain activism-related videos I am interested in. If I have access to my PC or laptop, I can watch them there - but it would be nice to be able to watch them on my n900 when I don't have that access, or it is more convenient to use the n900. I am not altogether clear why that requirement is regarded with such disdain. So, do keep trying - if nothing else you will end up more knowledgeable in the process.
