What am I looking for?

Code:
/usr/bin/uktube:477: GtkWarning: gtk_box_pack_start: assertion ' child -> parent == NULL' failed
  hbox.pack_start(self.send_button, True, True, 0)
/media/mmc1/Video/<movie_name.flv>
running: mplayer -vf crop=320x192 /media/mmc1/Video/<movie_name.flv>
Illegal instruction
And yes... I'm running 2007 Hacker Edition. Python 2.5 is also on the machine, no prior version of Python on the machine.

ahh.. have you installed mplayer on the machine?

Also seems like that might also be a bug, as the <movie_name.flv> doesn't sound like any file I know. Does it crash on all files? Did you use the save file checkbox?

lol... the movie has some super long name from YouTube... and I was being lazy from typing it in manually. It resides in the proper location, so it's saved.

And yes, I do have MPlayer installed as well.

so, is the problem just related to that single file?

Aha. Figured it out. I had installed the Nokia N800 version of MPlayer, not the 770 version. And that's the culprit.

Fixed now. Thanks for making me think about it. Still twitches a bit when I click around. Also, when I select Video, the music covers stay. Is that normal?

nope, that's not normal. Could be something related to too few videos or something like that. I'll investigate further.

Any chance of UKTUBE to support other flash based sites such as youporn.com?

well, that's up to you. I won't do it, but the source code is there in the uktube file, so if it's important to you, just add it yourself. It's probably not that hard.

FYI - with nothing else running, UKMP will cause Pidgin to crash and both apps will close every time. Shouldn't I be able to do both easily?

Is this on 770 or N800? Which firmware version?
