Which kernel file did you use and do you have the original info at ( System: Settings: About Product ) restored?

you want zImage-Stock. Yes it requires a flash. My product settings were never gone so can't tell you if it restores those. Don't ask me how I managed to keep them, As far as I know I didnt do anything special.

If you simply want to replace 600MHz with higher speed, edit the file arch/arm/mach-omap2/omap3-opp.h, and replace in omap3_mpu_rate_table S600M with 800000000 or any value you want. You can also replace the 0 in the OPP1 line with 125000000 to enable 125MHz clock.

Similarly for S430M in the dsp table.

If you want a more advanced (allowing more than 5 frequencies, more than one frequency per voltage level), see this patch:

If you like Flash content (games or vids) and can accept the risk, the 800mhz OC is a must-have (at least until 10.1 comes around). Games that were stuttery messes and vids that were stuttery in browser are smooth- no other way to describe them. I am stunned and did not expect it.

I will now go back to my Flash game mining and find some more gold (good) games to save for later

ok, i havent been using the phone as normal, ... Ive used it quite a lost since i o/ced it.. I dont know how it wil stand a normal days usage yet...

but it seems to be a bit easier on battery on idle...

its been on charge up to abt 10am... then i disconnected the charger. and didnt use it till the dark blue shading (wifi)....

see how it chews the battery off like some beast...
When i dont use wifi, the graph seems to go up (slightly).... ????

I didnt put it on charge, so I dont know why the graph steeps up so much at 5pm...

hope it answers some of your questions...

edit: today hasnt been a normal days use either as its bank holiday

About the flash games: this bookmarklet will open the current Miniclip game in full browser window:

Code:
javascript:(function(){top.location.href=top.location.href+document.getElementById('gameContainer').innerHTML.match(/src\=\"(.*\.swf)\?/)[1];})()

Hmm.. that sites states that every 100mhz increase.. reduces the lifetime by half. Thats not true.. its complete bull****. The warning is great, you shouldnt take that away. But dont make statements that are not true. The lifetime WILL BE reduced and the higher you go, the more it will reduce. But saying its halved by every 100mhz is not true.
