Good thing I didn't get the black N9 yet. I am going to wait till white version arrives, and given it's 64GB, it will be perfect. After that, I am thinking of getting Lumia 800 as well.

Share your thoughts Shallimus when you get more play time out of it.

Careful cutting your SIM, as its very possibly to ruin a SIM if you dont measure properly.

Ordered from Negri on Mon evening, left HK Tuesday morning, with me Wednesday morning. Not bad at all. No customs fee or brokerage nonsense either (no idea why, but I'm not complaining). Now I need to get SIM chopped. Also need to flash the device once a generic image is available, because it says 'StarHub' everywhere (a Singapore network - I assume this device was supposed to end up in Singapore).

First impressions: so freakin' shiny. Capactive screen: weird, but not bad. VKBD: surprisingly easy, given I've never used one before for more than a few minutes and have been avoiding them for years.
for those who ordered from Negri...do all the N9 have "Starhub"everywhere?

Our precious is here. Sorry for the poor pictures, shooting them on a 6 year old dumbphone. I ordered via Negri on Monday, and it came today.

I'm working now, but I'll report some more info as soon as I get a chance to play with it a bit. I'll also have to cut/replace my SIM to actually test all the phone stuff.

I notice that press release mentioned 'London, United Kingdom' and is presumably one of the Nokia World announcements.

However, as the handset isn't even officially available in the UK, this seems slightly strange. I wonder if this means Nokia will sell the white version in the UK, or just that it was unfortunately announced in the UK (where it will not be sold)?

so glad I didn't pull the trigger on the black 64GB I was eyeing from Malaysia. White will be certainly worth the wait. My N900 can hold up until then.
