Ergo it's perfectly obvious that the UK version is being delayed by a shiney new iplayer app, and they can't publish it as Spencer Kelly won't let them release the iplayer component until it can make him look sensible. Which means a looong wait...

Hey, if they're going to keep me hanging on like this, I'm going to get wilder and woollier in my speculations, right?

flash 10.1 would resolve this issue. would also allow tvcatchup( basically freeview) to work also.

Apart from the APN details I can't see any branding at all even on the hardware there are no badges.
Vodafone business told me that there was no branding by them when I asked a senior product advisor on the phone. He told me that the updates should come without delay as they were not being altered by Vodafone.

I guess he could have been wrong but given his position that seems unlikely.

Its not so much what they put on their as to what they take off and disable.

Vodafone Disabled the ability to set MP3 files as ringtones on the Nokia 6630. Vodafone denied this but coincidently their own ringtones sold on their site were MP4 (which worked fine). Every other variant allowed MP3s fine.

They have also been known to disable Skype and other features that riveled their own.

yes this had to be stopped as it was illegal to do so. blocking services that nokia provide in there handsets is illegal. i seem to recall orange tried this with the n95 by blocking voip
