Surfed 30min on train in the morning and had around 30sms

Battery was 30% when i left work, wanted to surf on train again, but i got warning for low battery (4%)after 2min
So the battery indicator isn't telling the truth?! I already saw that it sometimes goes up again with few %.

Will test tomorrow without 3g. Could a weak wifi signal take more power from battery? I hope 1.1 update improves battery and auto updates apps from store.. 2 of my frustrations
I am unwilling to shut off all the cool functions of a 2011 smartphone. I like having push mail and top notch multi tasking. Your use of the device seems very reasonable as that is quite a common set up for most. I am ok with charging the phone once during the day as I have a desk job but when I am out - especially travelling - I panic as i rely heavily on GPS navigation and being able to contact family.

So when youre travelig and unsure where the next TV or computer or other USB outlet will be you just switch to 2g network, switch screen brightness to lowest, cancel FB/twitter/RSS updates for feedscreen, etc.

Depending on necessity switch email sync off too.

That way you should have a good batterylife for your navigation and your familycalls.

But when youre at home or near a wallsocket or USBsocket you just plonk it all back on again.

There should be a settings app that you can configure for this, and make a profile called Work for instance with all these options changeable, that allows you to change from "Travel mode" to "Normal mode" with a single press... hm...

Update for anyone interested in buying from sgbest, I just got my tracking number from DHL and it looks like shipping is 1-2 days, so hoping it gets here by Friday.

They said Q4 of 2011, so either this month or the next, if there are no delays.

Preorders have started in Finland for the white n9, so I'm guessing we can expect it to pop up by the end of the month in most places.

Telcel in Mexico had their release of the N9 last night. They only had 500 for a city of 20+ million. You could only get it if you signed up for a modified *read less minutes, 10 sms messages, no internet* double the price for 18 month plan. An absolute rip off.

Inquiries to Nokia in Mexico via their website on Tuesday, were answered by email today. They say the only way to buy an N9 is through Telcel. They are not selling it via the website, nor in any other outlet.

I AM PISSED !!!!!!!!
