I reckon I'll sell my n900 on Ebay when it gets back to me, I don't have time for a phone that I don't have use of for a couple of weeks as some of you are reporting.

Just to confirm I have now received a replacement phone and the situation has been resolved.

I asked for, and received a Nexus One, as I have no confidence in the N900s right now. Maybe Nokia will fix the problems in the next model...

Or maybe this was just designed as more incentive to upgrade to step 5 but it failed too quickly
Now they can only attempt to fix the job rather than design it right from the start.
It's hard to get too much reinforcement for a power plug. It's especially true for a power plug that someone might attempt to insert upside down (as opposed to the barrels plugs).
