But nothing which says SIP video isnt possible either.. just that a VOIP account is required.

well, yes, could be sip, jingle, skype, whatever... they don't say. - they only say that normal (non-voip) video calls won't work.

The problem is that no - it doesn't work well. There's a problem with developing / releasing qt software, because garage compiles apps for a different version and users cannot easily test them / they cannot be moved to proper repositories. That means basically no new qt apps until 1.2 is released. (unless you want to have fun setting up old scratchbox, but what's the point - 1.2 is coming...)

Well I was really embarrassed the other day when my friend whips off a good ol' N73 and said he wanted to finish off his remaining credits on it (for some stupid credit plan of the serviceprovider) and he tries makin a video call and frankly, i dint realise the feature wasn't there. I had a feelin Nokia wouldnt have done such a thing (Giving the front cam and all.... Anyone would think so). However I made him believe his phones gone nuts.... Now i feel soooo stupid. I just hope nokia does something about this.I know it isnt a very useful thing (rarely used by anyone) but frankly, it would just make the n900 haters shut their mouths rather than pinpoint, u dont have this or that. And well, it just popped to my mindthat, can someone try for, like makin some plugins that will make IRC / IM with voice and webcam enabled??? Would be AWESOME
