Translated: "I can't believe this! I just can't. I don't think it will happen with me. Don't know why.".

I'm more anxious for knowing what has to be made to achieve that battery consumption improvement than for getting the improvement itself.

Yes, it's a lie, but I'm also very curious about what the magic is.

What did you do? I also set my vfs cache to 10. brightness to 3 bars, and almost everything i can to save battery life
same here. I can last a day with maybe an hour or 2 of web browsing, an hour of video on media player and a couple of calls+ some sms'es.

however, responsiveness of the whole OS in general is way UP.

NO NEED FOR 2 HRS
JUST POSTED A WHOLE BRAND NEW STEPS

the extra new tweak
is the powersafekernel bias

NOTE : you will not be able to overloak more than 805mhz

start applying the tweaks 1 by 1

then reboot and full charge your N900

and have fun with the long battery life

NOTE:
i'm not sure yet that it works on every N900
Let us hope it will

I've applied the powersave bias to 20

will test these 2-3 days to see if it matches up to the battery life expected
