Alright, thanks, I'll be looking forward to that. Yeah, from what I've heard it's not recommended and there was another way to restart Hildon Desktop, I can't just for the life of me figure out what that code what was. If you/someone else does remember then please let me know, since I'm going to suggest the coder of DAM to use it, if possible, instead of the current one.

Otherwise I'll just make widget of that code. But that's enough of off-topic.

The code to restart hildon-home "gently" is (must be ran as user, not as root):
dsmetool -k /usr/bin/hildon-home
dsmetool -t /usr/bin/hildon-home

Alright, thanks, I'll let the developer know about that, if he/she didn't know about it yet.

And one, minor feature request : control over vibration feedback. Again, it might be just me but I've always got lower VFB in Black Plastic than in other themes. Would it be possible to implement the feature in future versions? I think I saw someone else having this same issue earlier on this thread.

WTF, I don't do anything for vibration, to be honest, don't even know how to alter it

Hah, alright, thanks, my bad then, I assume. Anyways, I found yet another thing, that might need some "fixing". I'm talking about the preset icons for contacts. I really like the one that replaces the blue one, but the other ones are stock and sort of seem out of place. If you ask me I'd keep up using the same way how you replaced the blue one though this time I'd use instead of white borders the relevant one to the original, e.g. pink border to the pink icon (or just fill the insides with the original color and then add white borders). Some of them also do not have transparency on them, which I've already made a bug of, though it might be also theme-relevant.

Screenshot attached. Notice the middle row of icons, none of them have transparency (again, might be related to the bug #10961).

And thanks again for the great theme, I really like it and kudos to you for replying to us, users, which is not that common on other platforms from developers. I really appreciate it.

Thanks for pointing those out
I will definitely make "pleegoed" avatars for the top row of your screenshot.

Middle ones I haven't touched and they are not included with the Pleego package, so problem is the original files shipped with N900.

One thing that bugs me, and I know its nothing to do with the Theme, but I'd just like to get it off my chest.

Why does it only show one avatar for all the contacts that you have not set an avatar for, even if you have set your contacts gender, surely it should use a pink one for the females and blue for the males.

Thanks for that, I've been holding that in for months.

Unfortunately behaviour you described is not about theme. You need to manually set different avatars for each contact.

Edit: I should learn to read
Sorry, have no idea how to "fix" your issue

No I know its not something you can fix, it goes a lot deeper than that, just seems a shame that we can set the gender but the system does not make use of it.

One day, hopefully my dream will come true.
