here latest apkenv compiled with latest commits (sonic 4 episode 1 works ) .
As usual the same warning about installing deb files from the internet and i don't take any responsibility of anything that might happens . enjoy
edit : i lost my app data and reflashed the kernel because of trying sonic 4episode1 (error from sonic 4 data not from apkenv ) . Now it works just put the data in /home/user/.apkenv/

which version of sonic 4 episode 1 worked for you? I tried with 1.3 and 1.0.1 with no success. The latest build is supposed to work with Plants vs Zombies v1.2 also according to pandora forum.

For me apkenv loads the game using generic module instead of the other. I have data folder In /home/usr/.apkenv/, is this correct?

(re)move generic module outside the modules folder in /opt/apkenv/modules
and the data is /home/usr/.apkenv/<name of sonic4.apk>/

Nice, thanks alot
After removing generic.apkenv.so from /opt/apkenv/modules and /home/user/ to avoid loading the module, I got it working. I'm now able to load Plants vs Zombies v1.2 (amazon) with data built into the apk. The latest version 1.3.16 doesn't work though. How long it takes for you to load Sonic 4 Episode 1 ? i got blank white screen with no much activity.

That's promising, what version did you try?
EDIT: I gave Pudding Monsters a try, with
1.0.2: generic module loaded, nothing happens
1.1: generic module, same as above
1.2: not native apk
I don't think it work at all even though same maker as Cut the Rope.
