He said he wasn't an expert. But it was still useful. I got to use the terminal AND SSH all in one deal. Good learning for a newbie

So does this ssh open up something that couldn't be done in the terminal ( if you know how to use that).

Really, I'm just asking, I don't know.

I have a problem, now I don't view anything when boot the phone, I have the default config and I check this many times:
/usr/share/hildon-welcome/media/Hands-v32-h264.avi (I have transfer the video to my PC and it works correctly)

The default.conf are in:
/etc/hildon-welcome.d/default.conf

with exactly this: (2 lines, no spaces)
[hildon-welcome]
Hands-v32-h264.avi

Someone know what happen?, thanks.

Somebody (capable) should create an application for this.. I imagine it would take very less time to create, and would be a big pleasure for every noob: just browse the repositories, install the app, locate the vid, and apply.

Maybe Prismic could add the functionality? But also become free for me for suggesting it? LOL

Kino default.conf file should be like this.

[hildon-welcome]
filename=Hands-v32-h264.avi

(or your new avi name)

LOL, I forgot to put "filename=" before, hehehe, I lost 2 hours of my time trying things and at the end I had to reinstall the firmware to solve it.

Well, at least now I can change the video without problems.

Thank you hcancelik.
