Totally agree!
Let me get the money back and donate to Neo900 project.

This is true...
The only way I could ever ever ever possibly be upset ...would be that my donation money got stuck in a legality limbo and not get used for what the intention was.

Well just received email.
Though gdc cannot (understandably) at this moment recommend it...(since the neo900 ug donation conditions are diff. and there are understandable uncertainties...)...and putting in the notes the transfer info... they will attempt the transfer (saying there aren't any probs along the way with transferring) ..
This is great...it means that donations won't be drained by multiple processing fees.,,

correction ...possibly great for those who didn't use cc .
Credit card donations get returned to the card.
Not sure at the end of all this how much will be left once it reaches neo900 ug...
after the fee eating services take their chunk ..

Subject: Note regarding Goldelico Neo900 Development Donation
There has been the question if we can directly transfer your refund to Neo900 UG.
Let's say it this way: we don't recommend it. Because we don't know if you should agree the different conditions or not. If we recommend it, it means that we find the new conditions good and recommendable.
But we transfer the money to any bank account you specify and instruct us.
And, please use this "Notes" tool on the web shop order page (see link at the end of this mail) for providing the bank account data since it makes it a little easier to associate it to the order records.
What we need:
Name + IBAN (+BIC if you have it). If we have problems doing the transfer we will contact you.
I guess this clears the uncertainties.

IMO someone with better English than mine should prepare a typical "Send my refund to Neo900 UG (BIC/IBAN), I won't hold GDC liable, etc." and post it here, so those who wish their money donated to Neo900 UG to be able to simply copy/paste it in the "Notes" on the "Order Page"

Simple short and sweet

I would greatly appreciate if you could please forward my remaining donation amount to Neo900 UG and (for lack of a better term) release you from any future liability in the doing.

This probably isn't necessary as GDC has already stated they will transfer the money to any bank account we specify and instruct them to.

The refund goes either directly back to your credit card (if you used one to
pay) or if you have used SEPA/IBAN bank transfer, please provide your
account data where we should send the money to.
It would be nice if GDC offered this bank transfer option to those who paid by credit card too. That way we could just specify the Neo900 UG bank account. We also need confirmation that Neo900 UG will be able to identify which customers have chosen this option.

While I'm quite keen to transfer my refund (or redonate if I have to) to Neo900 UG, I'm afraid I will have to hold back until Jörg announces that he has a concrete plan that describes how he will progress the project without GDC involvement.

Also is might be a good idea to instruct GDC to put your email (and name) into the subject of the bank transfer, if you want to be contacted by Neo900 UG (haftungsbeschränkt).

I instructed GDC to do the transfer to Neo900 UG. Even without knowing what joerg will do.

This is meant as a sign that this project must not die and I put my trust in him finding the best solution!
